Overview

My name is Vaya, and I am 34 years old. I am a qualified teacher with a degree from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a Master’s in Special Education from the University of Nicosia. Additionally, I have attended various educational seminars and hold a First Aid certification.

I have been working as a teacher in both general and special education in schools across Greece for the past 10 years. Since 2022, I have been living in Chania, where I work at a public school while also providing private lessons to elementary students, including children with learning disabilities.

In addition to my teaching experience, I have worked as a babysitter in various settings with children aged from 2 years.

Furthermore, in the summer of 2023, I worked as both an instructor and a team leader for children aged 8-10 at the swimming pool of the N.O.X. summer sports camp. In the summer of 2024, I was an instructor for sports, educational, and creative activities at the “Be Active” summer camp in Chania.

My hobbies include swimming, hiking, dancing, and playing percussion. I am a native Greek speaker and have a good command of English and German. I also hold a valid driving license.

I am passionate about working with children, as it allows me to inspire, support, and nurture their growth. I love engaging them in creative activities such as puzzles, board games, crafts, reading, and painting. Through these activities, children can learn and explore knowledge in a safe and supportive environment, which I believe is essential for their development.
