Overview

My name is Theodora, and I am a dedicated Preschool Teacher with a deep love for Early Childhood Education.

I studied Preschool Education and Teaching in the University of Crete and have a MeD from the University of Patras and a Diploma of Montessori Assistant from Athens. I hold  First Aid and CPR certificates and seminars in “Special Education” and “Administration of Education” from the University of Aegean. Additionally, I am trained as Childcare Assistant by “Worlwide Kids” after a collaboration for seven years in hotel kids clubs.

I have ten years’ experience in Childcare as I worked with children from all over the world in the hotels as a Childcare manager. There I managed both the kids club and the creche club. With all these years of experience, I confidently create a nurturing and engaging learning environment where young children can explore, grow, and develop essential skills. Currently, I am working in Greek public schools and in the afternoons, I am working as a babysitter/nanny.

I speak fluently English and German. I am passionate about child development, and I strive to create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment where children can grow and thrive. My approach focuses on interactive learning, play-based education, and fostering social-emotional development. I love crafts, drawing, being in nature and create educational activities and fun games adapted to the needs and interests of each child. I take pride in fostering strong, trusting relationships with both children and parents. My warm and patient personality allows me to connect easily with little ones while maintaining structure and discipline in a positive manner.
