Theano P
Overview
My name is Theano, and I live in Thessaloniki. I have been working as a kindergarten teacher for the past ten years. I truly enjoy working with children in new environments, which is why I travel frequently, especially to the Greek islands, to gain experience in different schools, cultures, and communities.
Working with young children has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Each day is filled with energy, creativity, and meaningful interactions that contribute not only to the children’s development but also to my own personal growth. I particularly enjoy engaging children in creative activities such as drawing, painting, and crafts, helping them develop their imagination and fine motor skills. Storytelling is also a key part of my approach, as it supports language development and helps children understand emotions and social situations.
I also incorporate music and movement into daily routines, encouraging children to sing, dance, and express themselves through rhythm. As a nanny, I adapt activities according to each child’s age and developmental stage; for example, I use sensory and messy play for younger children.
In addition to my teaching career, I have worked as a nanny since the age of 20, caring for children from newborn to 7 years old.
Being part of their early learning journey and supporting their growth is something I truly value and take great pride in. I would be very happy to continue working with families and contributing, in my own way, to the safety, wellbeing, and happiness of their children.
