Markella
Overview
My name is Markella and I am 28 years old. From a young age, I enjoyed caring for my younger siblings and spending quality time with them through creative and recreational activities. I spent many of my summers at children’s camps, where we played, danced, created, and engaged in a wide variety of fun experiences.
I have attended numerous seminars focused on theatre-based learning (dramatic play) and messy play, and I am especially passionate about inclusive education. Since my teenage years, I have been actively involved in volunteering with individuals with special needs, participating in performance and dance therapy projects as a contemporary dancer.
For the past eight years, I have worked closely with children—as both a nanny and a private tutor. As a qualified teacher, I specialize in supporting children with learning difficulties by providing tailored lessons and intervention activities. As a nanny, I aim to make every moment enjoyable while supporting each child’s growth and confidence.
I take pride in identifying each child’s interests and potential talents, and I love exploring these areas through play, creativity, and learning. My priority is always to form a trusting bond with the children I care for so they feel safe, supported, and happy.
I regularly attend seminars and training focused on child development, psychology, and creative activities, and I stay in touch with many of the children I’ve supported to follow their progress over time.
I truly love what I do and bring with me patience, enthusiasm, and many ideas to help children thrive in a joyful and safe environment.
