Kalliopi
Overview
My name is Kalliopi, and I am a passionate and experienced Kindergarten Teacher with a deep love for working with young children. I am committed to creating a warm, safe, and stimulating environment where every child feels valued, confident, and inspired to learn.
I am fluent in both Greek and English, and I hold a degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Athens. I also hold a Master’s degree in Special Education, complemented by a range of relevant seminars and training.
Throughout my career, I have developed a strong sense of responsibility and enthusiasm for early childhood education. I firmly believe the early years are foundational to a child’s emotional, social, and cognitive development, and I take pride in supporting their growth during this critical stage.
In addition to my work during the academic year, I spend the summer months as a private babysitter for children of various ages. During this time, I ensure each child’s safety and well-being while engaging them in creative, meaningful activities. We play educational and sensory games, paint, craft, and explore a range of textures and materials—encouraging imagination and stimulating sensory development. This allows families to enjoy worry-free holidays, knowing their children are in a joyful, nurturing environment.
What sets me apart is my genuine joy in working with children, my patience, and my ability to connect with them through storytelling, music, and play. I am highly organized, collaborative, and always open to learning new methods to enrich my teaching practice.
With several years of experience working in kindergartens and nurseries, where I design and implement creative, age-appropriate activities that help children explore and understand the world around them, I strongly value play-based learning and always aim to balance fun with educational goals. I also maintain open, respectful communication with parents, understanding that strong school-family collaboration is essential to a child’s success.
