Overview

I am an experienced nanny with over ten years of professional childcare experience, caring for children from newborns through to teenagers, each with their own unique personality, abilities and needs.

Looking after children has never simply been a job for me; it has always been part of who I am. When I was seven years old, my mother was frequently hospitalised, and I naturally became involved in caring for my baby sister, who was just one year old. I learned to change nappies, prepare bottles, comfort her, and respond to her daily needs with patience and confidence. Those early experiences taught me responsibility, empathy and the importance of creating a secure emotional bond with a child. They also sparked my lasting interest in the emotional connection between babies and their caregivers, inspired by principles such as those found in haptonomy, where trust, presence and gentle touch play an essential role in a child’s development.

Throughout my career, I have worked with children of many different ages and backgrounds. Alongside traditional nanny positions, I have also worked as a pedagogical tutor, supporting children with a wide range of learning profiles, including ADHD, dyslexia, learning difficulties, highly gifted children, as well as children who simply needed reassurance and confidence to reach their full potential. These experiences have strengthened my adaptability and taught me that every child deserves an individual approach based on respect, patience and understanding.

One of my greatest strengths is my emotional intelligence. I am naturally calm, patient and observant, which allows me to create peaceful routines and secure attachments. Families often appreciate my ability to establish consistent sleep routines and to bring a reassuring presence, particularly during the early years when children need stability and emotional security.

I have a genuine passion for child development and enjoy drawing inspiration from educational philosophies such as Montessori, Steiner and Decroly. I believe that children learn best through curiosity, creativity and meaningful experiences, and I always strive to create an environment where they feel safe, respected and encouraged to explore the world at their own pace.

Creativity has always been a central part of my life, as I come from a family of artists. I love sharing music, storytelling, arts and crafts, nature walks and imaginative play with children. I have seen first-hand how creative activities help children express their emotions, develop confidence and build meaningful connections with the world around them.

I am also a polyglot. French is my native language, and I truly believe that early language exposure is one of the greatest gifts we can offer a child. Through songs, stories, everyday conversations and play, I enjoy introducing children to new languages in a natural, joyful and pressure-free way.

Professionally, I am discreet, organised, clean , tidy, reliable and highly adaptable. I am comfortable working within fully staffed households, collaborating closely with parents and other childcare professionals, and respecting each family’s routines, values and privacy.

Above all, I genuinely love what I do. It is a privilege to accompany children through the different stages of their development, to help them grow in confidence, and to offer families peace of mind knowing their children are safe, understood and cared for with kindness and dedication.
