Overview

My name is Sofia and I am a nurse. I have a Master’s degree in Nursing and specialize in school nursing.  I have been working as a Nurse for six years, (mainly in General Hospital) and for the last year I have been working as a school nurse where I support a six year old girl with type 1 diabetes.    I have worked with ‘’Kids in Greece’’ as a private nanny since 2013, with children from ages 6 months to 13 years old. I love working with children and this is one of the reasons I chose to work in school nursing. At school, I was able to teach First aid to both teachers and children.

It is important to mention that all these years I have been taking care of children for short to long periods of times. For example, one summer I took care of two children, three years and 10 years old in Monemvasia. It was wonderful since we carried out many activities with the children together such as swimming, cycling and various recreational games at home and on the playground. Parents felt safe with me because of my nursing qualities and skills. Some of the characteristics I could say about myself are: happy, optimistic, patient, full of energy. I am also a mother of a little girl.
