Overview

My name is Maria and I am 34 years old. I am a qualified theatre educator and I am completing my Master on Drama as a learning medium whilst I attend the triennial advanced program on Carl’s Orff music education.

My experience varies between working in childcare with infants from one year old, implementing theatre educational workshops in preschools, while completing my internship in primary school specialized in theatrical play and inquiry drama. For the last four summers I have been involved in childcare offering educational and creative play services at three Greek- American siblings from Chicago, seven to twelve years old.

I am always delighted with the unique way children engage knowledge and so one of my main interests is to provide alternative ways of learning based especially for the needs every kid has, while at the same time we spend a fun and enjoyable time. In addition to active learning, I care for the essential relationship which I develop with each child filled with love, trust and empathy. The safety and the well-being of the child are considered my top priorities respecting every parent that honors me with their trust.

I love dancing, ballet, swimming, music and traveling.
